The Engineering and Manufacturing Career Cluster at SouthWest Metro prepares students for high-demand, hands-on careers through the Construction Trades and Automotive pathways. Students gain practical experience with industry tools, equipment, and safety practices while developing problem-solving and technical skills tied to real-world applications in building, systems, and vehicle technology. Students also have opportunities to earn valuable industry-recognized safety and workplace certifications that strengthen employability and support a smooth transition to apprenticeships, postsecondary education, or the skilled trades workforce.
