SouthWest Metro offers a wide variety of Career & Technical Education (CTE) coursework accessible to general education students that attend member and associate member district high schools.  Visit our CTE page to learn more.

SouthWest Metro offers over a dozen level 3 and 4 special education programs, serving ASD, DCD and EBD students. Families need a referral from a SWMetro member district to attend programming. Visit our Special Services page to learn more.

• Continue to improve and refine a system to recruit, retain, develop, support and fill all staffing positions with quality staff. 
• Study current contracts and implement a plan to address employee contract concerns regarding pay and benefits to ensure we remain competitive in the marketplace. 

• Strengthen and improve systems and implementation plans to address student and staff safety and security concerns. 
• Create and implement plans to address the social and emotional well being, mental health, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and belonging needs of both students and staff. 

• Study to understand how to best improve communication and transparency throughout the organization and with member districts. 
• Clarify staff roles and responsibilities to support expectations and processes. 
• Collaboration with stakeholder teams to create and monitor the strategic priority action plans. 

• Work to align all systems, processes, resources and tools across the organization and with member districts. 
• Establish a clear path for student and program growth that addresses space, staffing and finances.
