Email Signature Guidelines

Gmail & 2-Step Authentication

SouthWest Metro requires all staff to have 2-factor authentication enabled on district email accounts.

There are several methods to verify your account, including: a text message, phone call, google prompt, or backup code. At least one of these methods must be put into place. Failure to enable 2-factor authentication will lead to your gmail account being frozen.
Staff with a frozen email can reach out to the tech department via the Work Order System.

How to Enable 2-Step Authentication

Phone System

Staff assigned to a classroom phone should see their name appear in the upper left of the illuminated display. If the assigned staff member's name is not present, a work order should be submitted to the technology department.
